Bio
Born in Chile, 1966, studied from 1992 to 1995 at the Universidad de Chile School of Fine Arts where he obtained his Bachelor Title in Visual Arts with an honorary mention.
He has had individual and collective exhibitions in several galleries and cultural centers in Chile and abroad.
A realistic painter of everyday topics, especially still life, the human figure, and historic paintings.
By the end of 2007 he had his second individual exhibition in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in November 2008 he participated in the Bi-annual International Contemporary Art Exhibit in Chapingo, Mexico.
Actually working on a project named “Pintando la Historia” (Painting History), a series of large format paintings on the War of the Pacific (from 1879-1884, was a conflict between Chile and the alliance of Bolivia and Peru. Also known as the "Saltpeter War," the war arose from disputes over the control of territory that contained substantial mineral-rich deposits)
He is now taking part in two international collective traveling exhibitions in Mexico. He is preparing to participate in a collective Latin American and European Artists traveling exhibition through galleries and cultural centers of Chile, Argentina, Cuba, Mexico, and Spain.
His works can be found in public and private collections in Chile and abroad.

Artist statement:
"My works are developed on three facets of the imaginarium. The object as study and as a way of observation in still life and landscape.
Story painting as a certification of memory and the analysis of the human figure as a note and a completed sketch, and as a Latin American poetry log.
In the search to capture and perpetuate everyday implements in the composition, the concepts defining the object intertwine in a conceptual trilogy"
