Bio:
Carolyn is a master artist known and collected internationally. Her works are in collections in Canada, England, Germany, France, Italy, and the United States. Born (1947) and raised in Rhode Island, art was an obvious obsession in her developmental years.
At the age of eleven she began formal study with the late C. Gordon Harris. Professional representation of her paintings began at an early age. Formal education continued under the tutelage of Nguyen Tri Minh, Franklin Alexander, and the Art Students League.
She works on a variety of media and subject portrayal. Her greatest personal satisfaction is derived from the depiction of portraiture,
landscape, equine, and canine subjects. She focuses on oil and watercolor paints, as well as graphite drawings that are reminiscent of works by Albrecht Durer. She employs traditional techniques, using the finest quality materials to ensure longevity.
